Big Sleeps: Project One

Created a 3D sculpt based on a 2D logo design. Sculpted in Zbrush and using the Cura slicer to print various models to the Creality CR10s printer. Learned some mold making and casting techniques.

Printing Process:

Using a Creality CR-10s 3D printer w/ Marlin 1.1.9 Firmware and Stock Set-up. I began printing various prototypes of the model. Some straight all-in-One prints and then splitting up the model with registrations and keys.

Molding Process:

Using a Legos as walls for this technique and Smooth-On (OOMOO 30) molding products. I Created a two part mold.

hen I cast Smooth-Cast 300 Liquid Plastic.
